CARBIOW joined a Horizon Europe conference in Spain

On 28 November, the CARBIOW project joined the 12th Conference of the European Union’s Framework Programme for Research and Innovation in Spain Horizon Europe in Oviedo (Northern Spain).

The Conference, organised by the CDTI, in collaboration with the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities (MICIU), the European Commission, the City Council of Oviedo and Sekuens, aimed to analyse the first years of operation of Horizon Europe and also to review the excellent results of the participation of our country in order to draw conclusions that allow Spanish entities to improve their participation strategies and positioning in Europe.

The Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Universities, Juan Cruz Cigudosa, chaired the opening ceremony, which was also attended by Leticia González, Councillor for Economy, Digital Transformation and Social Policies of the City Council of Oviedo and Borja Sánchez García, Minister for Science, Business, Training and Employment of the Government of the Principality of Asturias. The conclusions and closing were given by Teresa Riesgo, General Secretary for Innovation of the MICIU and President of the CDTI.

Several posters were approved by the organisation and exhibited, and CARBIOW was one of them. Inmaculada Abasolo, representative of our project coordinator TECNALIA Research & Innovation, attended this event.

Our poster presented the objectives of the project, the technological innovation it proposes, the added value within the production of biofuels and a list of the results obtained throughout its first two years of life.
