The entire CARBIOW project consortium went to Darmstadt (Germany) to hold the M30 General Assembly meeting on 2-3 April, at the Technische Universität Darmstadt facilities.
The project has entered a critical phase, with only one year left, and this led all the work packages, as well as reviewing the actions carried out during the last six months, to place special emphasis on highlighting what their next steps will be, what milestones and KPIs are still to be achieved, and how the consortium can work together to ensure that we all reach port on time.
Discussions, exchange of ideas, synergies and recommendations flew constantly between the different Work Packages, with all critical decisions being taken jointly and any issues being resolved together. Above all, it was a great opportunity to meet again in person, to share with other colleagues the progress, challenges, proposals and suggestions that have arisen and to achieve, between all of us, the full potential of the consortium and the project.
An exciting year lies ahead, during which the results and findings will emerge, enabling the project to leave a lasting mark on the biofuels sector and actively contribute to the decarbonisation of maritime and air transport.
The consortium would especially like to thank the Technische Universität Darmstadt colleagues for organising this meeting, which allowed us to get to know them better and the work they do. The visit to their facility was of great value for all the members of the consortium.
