CARBIOW project has been featured in an article in the Spanish magazine IndustriAmbiente on the decarbonisation of the European transport sector, as BIOPLAT (leader of the Communication and Dissemination WP), has presented it as one promising European innovation initiative for the development of biofuels.
The article reflects on the technologically neutral approach used by the European Commission in tackling the legislative reforms required by the maritime transport and aviation sectors, which have allowed a wide variety of R&D projects to flourish, focused on bridging the gap that still exists in the transport sector and advancing in its energy transition. And how, among all the proposed solutions, biofuels stand out as one of the options that offer the greatest guarantees for the future.
This is a great opportunity to bring the project closer to its target audience and show how the ambition of CARBIOW closely contributes to the key aspects of sustainable development, green transition, and (bio)circular economy.
