CARBIOW research was recently presented at the European Biomass Conference & Exhibition (EUBCE 2026) in The Hague, The Netherlands.
During the conference, Marc Siodlaczek (Technische Universität Darmstadt) presented the first oxygen carrier aided gasification (OCAG) results of biogenic waste at 1 MWth scale developed within the CARBIOW project.
The work, carried out by the team at the Institut Energiesysteme und Energietechnik (EST), Technische Universität Darmstadt, represents an important step in advancing innovative thermochemical conversion pathways for the production of sustainable, carbon-negative biofuels from organic waste.
